We are a company in Immensee that has brought an efficient and clean alternative to the market: An autonomously operating service robot called RoviMo®. It goes up to your hips, rides on three wheels and moves a mowing cylinder or other modules for green space management. So that no one must be there when it works autonomously, it works through algorithms, intelligence and important safety systems.

Ronovatec is looking for: CTO (Technical Manager) 80 - 100 % (m, w, d)
Your field of activity is made up of different areas:
Leadership:
- Your team consists of two mechanical engineers, two software robotics engineers, one business data processing specialist and two service technicians.
- As a visionary, you project your experience with innovation, networking and creativity onto our product and make your ideas real.
- You are a sparring partner for our management and can manage the balancing act between marketing wishes and product development.
- You are the link between our development partners & suppliers and the Ronovatec team.
- Ideally, you have experience in scale-up companies, which you can implement at Ronovatec in the areas of product development up to market maturity, internationalisation and industrialisation.
- As a team player, you succeed in making management decisions in good cooperation. As a coach and mentor, you help employees to develop both professionally and personally.
Professional competences:
- You have technical competences, at least one of them in depth, and can demonstrate professional experience in mechanics, software development, safety and/or electrical engineering.
- You have dealt intensively with the topics of IOT, sensors and software development in the past, either as a hobby or professionally.
- You can create documentation in a clean, structured way and in English and German.
- Legal requirements and knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering directives, current standards and norms are part of your everyday work.
Structure and planning:
- You have the control & oversight regarding planning, progress, and reporting in the areas of mechanical machine development, software development and resource planning.
- You bring your knowledge of processes and tools into the company.
- You coordinate the production with our partners
- You coordinate development work and are responsible for its documentation
We are looking for a successor as of August 2022 or by agreement:
As our CTO, you have a degree in (business) informatics or similar (FH/Uni). Your interest in and flair for leadership round off your profile. You should be curious and inquisitive. You are a professional in your field, work carefully and solution-oriented, have a quick grasp and quickly recognise correlations. You can manage different stakeholders in parallel. You are a person with stamina and are determined. You are not afraid to work with a wide variety of leaders and to assert yourself at times, but you are still collegial and friendly. You are fluent in both English and German.
