Ronovatec AG receives a guarantee of CHF 3.0 million from Swiss Technology Fund.

The support of the Technology Fund enables Ronovatec to further develop its products, pre-finance manufacturing and develop the European market.

Ronovatec is the system manufacturer of RoviMo^®; a multifunctional equipment carrier for the professional, autonomous and fully electric management of large green spaces such as sports fields (today) and golf courses (2024) as well as recreational and company green spaces (2024). RoviMo^® replaces diesel and petrol ride-on vehicles, operates without CO₂ emissions and is barely audibly quiet, thus contributing to improving the environment, quality of life and quality of work. The patented method of precise navigation of RoviMo^® along a predetermined path enables, among other things, the exact mowing of lawn patterns in accordance with the guidelines of National Football Associations as well as UEFA and FIFA. Further functions such as autonomous line drawing or cleaning of artificial turf are continuously integrated in modular form via standardised mechanical and electrical interfaces together with market-leading industry partners, which continuously increases the return on investment of RoviMo^® for the user customer.

Industrialisation and internationalisation in 2022

After last year's commissioning of a RoviMo^® pre-series in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, this year will see the production of a RoviMo^® small series industrially manufactured in Switzerland as well as its sale and commissioning in various European countries.

The Technology Fund provides loan guarantees to Swiss companies that develop and market novel products for the sustainable reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

The Technology Fund is a federal climate policy instrument. Responsibility for implementing the Technology Fund lies with the Federal Office for the Environment FOEN, Climate Division.
