The courage for perfection

My name is Janick, and today I'm taking you on a little journey. A journey that will not only give you an insight into my life but will also show you what the mindset of the team that is Team Ronovatec.

 

I can still remember my first practical project at the University: an industrial fan. Yes, a fan, just a bit bigger than you probably imagine now. It was about the evaluation and dimensioning of suitable components, the design and the mathematical proofs for mountings and mounting surfaces, all the way to detailed drawing derivations for the fitter. Practically everything. It was a very exciting project and every single one of us students saw for the first time what it meant to "develop" a product. The task was clear: it was an industrial fan, this performance was required, that's where it should be assembled... but why am I telling you this? Because it was completely different with RoviMo^®.

 

No one tells you how big or heavy the end product should be. How fast or for how long it should go. What this or that function should look like. And this is exactly where the exciting work of the engineer begins: to find the right solution for the customer's task that does not yet exist. One of my lecturers from Dublin once told me: "Creativity is nothing difficult. Being creative means recombining existing solutions to solve new tasks". In other words, having a new perspective on existing things. And that is precisely our strength at Ronovatec. Many people know how to cut the lawn or how to control the engine. But we combine self-developed hardware with self-written software to create a multifunctional product for the future. A product that increases the quality of life of our greenkeepers and at the same time respects the environment in all its facets. I hope you now understand why we at Ronovatec do our best and don't lose the courage for perfection: not only because it makes sense for the future of all of us, but because it is simply fun to be part of it!

 

And that's exactly how our robot RoviMo^®, which is now going into production, finally came into being. By each of us tackling and surpassing ourselves in our work. By everyone becoming the best they can be and making the impossible possible. By everyone going that extra mile.

 

So, what does the future hold? I can only tell you: many things. Right now I'm working on the construction and optimisation of RoviMo's big brother. What will it look like? Stay tuned, we will keep you up to date.
